During their time at KIT, the founders have been working among others in the first phase of the International Research Training Group (IRTG) GRK 2078. It was an honor, coming back to our routes and holding a live seminar for the IRTG on our founding story. We hope we could provide some insights into what it requires to startup a company!

Dieffenbacher received an order from a U.S. customer to manufacture an LFT-D line with a modified extrusion technology upstream of the press, enabling the line to produce high volumes of thermoplastic components larger than previously possible. We are excited to be responsible for the product design, the virtual manufacturing validation, as well as engineering of the part to be manufactured with this LFT-D line.

JEC Korea 2020 is approaching and we will be part of the show with a presentation on the Virtual Development of Hydrogen Storage Units held by our co-founder Dr. Benedikt Fengler.

We have recently closed a contract with scapos AG, which grants us the right to resell MpCCI Mapper as a component of our mapping and homogenization tool SimuChain. Now, we are able to supply SimuChain and MpCCI out of one hand, to establish a fully functional virtual process chain using ABAQUS/CAE.

In the last weeks and months, we adopted the approach for thermoforming simulation of thermoplastic tapes developed by our co-founder Dr. Dominik Dörr within his doctoral studies and made it ready to be supplied to our customers.
