We develop software products to enable the virtual design of manufacturing processes and components with fiber-reinforced composites, plastics, and hybrids. Through our collaboration with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), we are able to supply modeling approaches beyond the state-of-the-art.


SimuDrape is an add-on for Abaqus/CAE and Abaqus/Explicit for composite forming simulation, which enables a fully automatized model setup for stamp and membrane forming processes as well advanced material modeling for engineering fabrics, tape laminates, and prepreg materials.


SimuChain is an add-on for Abaqus/CAE for creating a virtual process chain, which enables the transfer of manufacturing effects predicted by process simulation into downstream FEA, such as warpage or structural simulation.


SimuFill is an add-on for Abaqus and Moldflow to capture the specificities of compression molding simulation with SMC, LFT, and GMT materials. This includes a sequential approach to model material forming and material flow in Abaqus and Moldflow, respectively. Moreover, modeling crystallization and curing kinetics are enabled for thermoset and thermoplastic materials as the basis for warpage analyses with SimuWarp.

SimuWarp is an add-on for Abaqus/CAE and Abaqus/Explicit for warpage analysis of thermoplastic (LFT, GMT, tape laminates) and thermoset (SMC, RTM, prepregs) materials. This includes the prediction of crystallization and curing kinetics, shrinkage, thermal strains, and residual stress, including stress relaxation.
